SourceForge today released the Gold & Jewellery ERP, a vertical-native platform for jewellery retailers, wholesalers and manufacturers. The product ships with 28 modules across four functional domains — inventory and manufacturing, sales and counter operations, finance and compliance, and operations.
The product is purpose-built for the gold business rather than a generic ERP with jewellery fields bolted on. The live gold-rate engine polls configurable feeds every few minutes and broadcasts updates over WebSockets to every showroom, with the point-of-sale locking the rate at start-of-bill to protect both counter and customer from mid-transaction volatility. Per-branch rate cards are supported for multi-city chains.
The Jamma scheme module — Indian jewellers' dominant savings programme — handles enrolment with KYC capture, monthly collection across cash, UPI, NEFT and Razorpay, deposit-ledger tracking, bonus calculation, maturity tracking and counter redemption with auto-discount. Multiple scheme variants per branch are supported. The hallmarking module integrates with the BIS portal for HUID push, lot-dispatch reconciliation and non-compliant-stock alerts that prevent the point-of-sale from billing items requiring hallmarking that have not received it.
AML and PMLA compliance is built in — PAN and Aadhaar capture for customers, automatic threshold tracking for the ₹2 lakh cash KYC and ₹10 lakh STR review limits, pattern detection for high-velocity transactions and audit-ready report templates for FIU-IND. The product is currently in production with a single-counter showroom, a multi-branch retail chain and a manufacturing house, with a Middle East deployment using the KSA tax module (ZATCA Phase 2 e-invoicing) in advanced pilot.
