SourceForge today renewed its Microsoft partnership for Dynamics 365 Business Central, marking a seventh consecutive year as an official Microsoft Business Central partner. The partnership covers AL extension development, AppSource publishing and implementation services across manufacturing, retail, jewellery and wholesale verticals.
SourceForge's Business Central practice has shipped two AI-native AppSource extensions over the past twelve months — the AI Assistant for Business Central, which exposes 61 tool-calling endpoints to Claude across the standard BC table set, and the OCR Payable Agent, which automates vendor invoice processing from email to posted invoice. Both extensions are in production with mid-market customers in India, the UAE and the UK.
The renewed partnership commits SourceForge to continued investment in the Business Central ecosystem — including a third AppSource extension currently in development, expanded AL training across the engineering team, and dedicated implementation capacity for the Microsoft India BC partner channel. SourceForge's BC implementations typically run on a six-phase delivery playbook from discovery to hypercare, with the company committing to on-site consultant presence at every customer site for the first 72 hours of go-live.
Microsoft is one of SourceForge's four core technology partners, alongside Anthropic Claude, OpenAI and AWS.
